Living in Dead Dallas (Sookie Stackhouse #2) by Charlaine Harris

The series gets interesting faster in the second book of Sookie Stackhouse. And I am pleased to see Sookie finally count her gift as just that a gift instead of a curse. Using it to help rather than suppress the ability. I rate the second book as a 5 ***** read and as a reread. Dreading ending the series as I would with any series I like when there are less books in it than I would hope for.

DEAD UNTIL DARK (Sookie Stackhouse #1) by Charlaine Harris

Another series I liked after after watching it on T.V. which was a nice surprise. T.v shows and books aren't always alike. Yes there are differences, but there are some that I have read have been completely opposite book vs T.V. glad this was the exception. My rating for this is 5 ***** Definite reread for me.

How to tame a beast in seven days (Embraced #1) by Kerrelyn Sparks

It starts out good but then I lost interest fast. Book spent too much time on the description of the surrounding area. It is an OK read rating a 2 star for me.

Dark Prince (Dark #1) by Christine Feehan

Mikhail and Raven's Story
Not too fond of Mikhail's controlling ways with Raven initially. But he is the Carpathian Prince so it is what you would expect. This book has vampires kind of. Or at least this authors version of a vampirish race. My rating for this book is 5 *****

The second Short life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer

I was surprised by this book. This book seemed to be a bit behind the scenes for Eclipse, from the newborns point of view. Which is probably why I loved it so much. Couldn't put it down finished it in 8 hours. Rating this one a 5 ***** definite reread for me.

Perfect Formation (Perfect fit #1) by KB Alan

This was a really good book, a bit out there with the bedroom stuff. Was a new author for me, so glad I picked outside of my usual Authors with this one. Will be looking to read another book from this Author. My rating for this book is a 5 ***** definite reread for me.

Chosen at Nightfall (Shadow Falls # 5) by C.C. Hunter

This was a really good book, love happy endings. This book rates a 5 ***** for me. Just wish that C.C. Hunter would come up with something like Shadow Falls all grown up. I would love to see what happened to these characters after this disaster. Especially with Jenny, Derek, Kylie and Lucas.
Glad I found another Author I like and will look to read more books

Whispers at Moonrise (Shadow Falls #4) by C.C. Hunter

This one was a bit of a tear jerker for me. Looks like there are only 5 books in this series. Though there seems to be another series that kinda stems from Shadow Falls series called Shadow Falls: After dark. That one seems to be from Dellas Point of view. My rating for this book in the series is a 5 ***** So many mixed emotions about the ending. Can't wait to read the next one. Considering that I read this one in less than 24 hours I hope the next one is as interesting or more so considering it seems to be the last book in the series according to how often the books were released and how there hasn't been any more released since then.

Taken at Dusk (Shadow Falls # 3) by C.C. Hunter

Well we finally find out what Kylie is in this book, a boy expresses his true feelings about Kylie. And I am excited to find out what this means in the next book. My rating for this book is 4 ****, glad I continued the series after the first book.

Born at Midnight (Shadow Falls #1) by C.C. Hunter

This book while while entertaining only reaching a 3 *** rating for me. It's an ok book. I will try the next book in the series later to see if it does get better. Because I have had a series do that to me before.

Storm Siren (Storm Siren # 1) by Mary Weber

This book is a new Author for me. Ever have a book pull you in then begin to bore you as it went on? That is how I feel about this book. Good at attention grabbing in the beginning. But not much else. Rating this one a 2 **

Twilight (Twilight Saga # 1) By Stephenie Meyer

Of course I have read this book many times, but it has been a long while. I wasn't sure if my taste in the book would stay the same as it had been before watching the movie. This book still rates a 5 ***** for me. The only difference is as I am reading it I am comparing it to the movie which I have watched many times. All I can think is there are extra scenes and scenes are out of order compared to the movie. Though that doesn't make me like the book or movie any less than I always have. Which is good, because I sometimes have problems reading books after I have seen the series or movie. Glad that this isn't one of those cases.
